Quick Access to Helpful Tools and Resources

USCIS Case Status

If you have a case pending with USCIS, you may check your status online. You will need your Receipt Number, which you can find on notices of action USCIS has sent you. (The receipt number consists of three letters — for example, EAC, WAC, LIN, SRC, NBC, MSC, or IOE — followed by 10 numbers.)

USCIS Change of Address

All aliens in the U.S. are required to report any change of address or new address. If you have a pending case, you will need to provide your Receipt Number.

Naturalization Practice Test

The civics practice test is a study tool to help you test your knowledge of U.S. history and government. Use this online tool to prepare for the civics portion of the naturalization test. This practice test contains 20 questions.

USCIS Live Assistance

You can get live help from a USCIS representative Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, except on federal holidays. You will need to provide your Receipt Number for all pending cases.
